Vietnam Building Guidelines for COVID-19 Vaccine Passport Holders: Official

The Vietnamese Ministry of Health (MoH) has assigned some agencies to propose and build guidelines for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine passport holders, said Mr. Dang Quang Tan, head of the General Department of Preventive Medicine, under the Ministry of Health (MoH). Another health official told the local Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that Vietnam may reduce isolation time for COVID-19 vaccine passport holders and it will remove quarantine time for such cases when the number of vaccinated people is bigger. The expert added that Vietnam may follow the World Health Organization (WHO)’s guidelines for such cases. Earlier on March 10, an overseas Vietnamese was still quarantined upon arrival for the next 14 days after being injected with two shots of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in the U.S. (Tuoi Tre, Tuoi Tre)
