Vietnam Central Province to Build $8M Obstetric & Pediatric Hospital

Vietnam’s central province of Thua Thien-Hue has approved a project to build an obstetric and pediatric hospital with a total investment of nearly VND156 billion ($8 million). The 200-sickbed hospital will be built on a site of 22,175 square meters in An Van Duong new urban area, Hue city, the Nong Thon Ngay Nay newspaper reported Dec 2. The hospital is slated for completion in the next four years. Early Nov, the southern province of Tra Vinh also began the construction of a similar one costing nearly VND202 billion in Chau Thanh district.
