Vietnam, Cuba Boost Health Cooperation

Cuban Deputy Health Minister Marcia Cobas on March 13 begun a visit to Vietnam, focusing on promoting cooperation between the two countries in this field. On the same day, she met with executives at the AMV Group, which has maintained ties with the biotechnology sector of the Caribbean island. The Cuban visitor also held talk with directors of the Thu Cuc International General Hospital in the afternoon. Her agenda included meetings with the sector’s authorities and representatives of other health institutions in Hanoi. These meetings, which will conclude on March 16, will allow participants to further widening collaboration in this area and expand bilateral cooperation, which covers several other branches, including agriculture, education and the tourism industry.
