Vietnam to Debut First Cybersecurity Academy in Q2/2021

Vietnam has scheduled to launch the first cybersecurity academy, which is under the cooperation between the Symposium on Information and Communication Technology (SoICT) of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Bkav Corporation, in the second quarter of 2021, state media reported. The information was announced at the signing ceremony on January 16. The cooperation aimed to boost training, research, and high-technology transfer. According to the agreement, the SoICT and Bkav will work together to develop artificial intelligence (AI) and train high-quality human resources in cybersecurity. They will also provide short-term training courses for the community. After the signing ceremony, the institution has opened the first training courses with the participation of nearly 40 staff from more than 20 companies and technology corporations in Vietnam. Students will study with experts from two teaching units through an advanced training system of Bkav and South Korea-based DuDuIT.
