Vietnam Gov’t Inspectorate to Examine Education Hot Issues

The Government Inspectorate (GI) of Vietnam will conduct a specialized thematic inspection into the State management of education and training with various ‘hot’ issues, according to the GI’s Decision 658/QD-TTCP local media reported. Accordingly, the Government Inspectorate will conduct inspections based on current education concerns, including textbooks accreditation, the implementation of projects by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), the pedagogy institutions system, and human resources for the sector. Additionally, the Government Inspectorate will also check educational institutions in five ministries: Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Transport, Natural Resources and Environment, and Information and Communications, and People's Committees of 12 provinces, with the inspection period from 2014 to the end of 2018.
