Vietnam Hanoi Records Sharp Fall in Measles, 24 Cases Year-to-date

Since the beginning of this year, the capital city of Hanoi has recorded 24 measles cases, down 99% from the same period last year, according to the municipal Department of Health. In addition to a sharp decrease in measles, other diseases were also contained well across the city. To continue on its disease prevention campaign, the city is actively promoting public healthcare and free or subsidized vaccination, which marked over 46,700 children under one year old getting vaccinated in the year to date.
