Vietnam Health Ministry, UNICEF Discuss Cooperation on Public Health
Vietnamese Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan has met with outgoing UNICEF representative in Vietnam Ms. Rana Flowers to discuss measures for greater cooperation in public health, local media reported.
During the meeting in Hanoi on July 2, Minister Lan praised the support of UNICEF and Ms. Rana Flowers in Vietnam’s healthcare efforts.
The UNICEF side acknowledged the Ministry of Health’s proposals, Ms. Rana Flowers said, noting that details will be discussed further by specialized groups with the new UNICEF Representative and UNICEF staff.
Ms. Rana Flowers affirmed that both UNICEF and she, in any capacity, will continue to support and collaborate with the Ministry of Health.
