Vietnam to Issue Vaccination QR Codes, towards Launch of Vaccine Passports

The Vietnamese Ministry of Health (MoH) has asked subordinate units to make lists of people who have been given COVID-19 vaccination certificates then issue them QR codes, towards the launch of vaccine passports, local media reported. The listed persons should be those who had been issued vaccination certificates as of July 22. Currently, 63 health departments and 88 hospitals and health organizations are permitted to carry out vaccination. As of July 25, the country had over 4.15 million vaccinated people, including more than one million in COVID-19 epicenter Ho Chi Minh City, the MoH said. (Tuoi Tre)
