Vietnam Startup Wheel 2020 Attracts 1,900 Applications from 20 Countries

Vietnam’s Startup Wheel 2020 program has attracted 1,900 startup projects from 20 countries and five continents, said contest co-organizer Business Startup Support Center (BSSC). Of the sum, 100 projects that are qualified for the semi-final round will be disclosed and divided into three areas of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang City for other rounds. Startup Wheel, an annual program to support the start-up ecosystem since 2013, will grant a total reward worth $200,000, besides legal support and mentorship, to selective projects. In the first half of the year, the BSSC held two programs namely Mentoring 1on1 and Help Startup in support of the entrepreneur community. The two programs facilitated startups in detecting problems and suggesting quick response options, connecting resources to overcome difficult times, and encouraging participants.
