VND150B to Build Houses for Ethnic Minority

From now until 2015, the Central Highland province of Dak Nong will spend around VND150 billion (roughly $7.2 million) to build 3,000 houses for ethnic minority people living in difficult circumstances. In 2012, the province also presented 1,000 houses to people living in Tuy Duc, Dac Song, Dac Min, Cu Giut, Dac Glong and Krong No border districts. Once completed, the 40-50 square metre houses worth about VND50 million ($2,400) each will be given to poor people of M’Nong, Chau Ma and Ede ethnic minority groups. (Nhan Dan – The People Nov 1)
