Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 - 31 October, 2017.

There are two meetings scheduled for the second half of October 2017:

• Corporate Engagement Working Group meeting, on Thursday, October 26 at 14:00;
• Disaster Management Working Group meeting, on Friday, October 27 at 14:00.

The CEWG meeting will take place at PACCOM: 105A Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. The DMWG meeting will be at NGO Resource Centre Office, Room 201, Building E3, Trung Tu Diplomatic Compound, 6 Dang Van Ngu, Hanoi.

• Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Working Group's sharing event on "analysing the value chain and production based on value chain link, Lessons learned from companies and NGOs", on Thursday, September 21 at 9:00;
• Disaster Management Working Group Meeting, on Friday, September 29 at 14:00.

The working group meetings will take place at the NGO Resource Centre Office, Room 201, Building E3, Trung Tu Diplomatic Compound, 6 Dang Van Ngu, Hanoi.

It is announced by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation that Ms. Alison Rusinow has joined SNV Vietnam in August 2017 as its Country Director. Before taking up her position in Vietnam, Ms. Alison Rusinow worked as Country Director for nearly ten years and Assistant Country Director for five years with International NGOs, including SNV Laos, CARE International Laos, HelpAge International Ethiopia and VSO Mongolia.
