We would like to inform you that the Resource Centre office will be closed on Christmas Eve on Friday, 24 December, and New Yar's Eve on Friday 31st December, 2010.

There is one Working Group meeting remaining in December: the Disaster Management Working Group will meet on December 17 (02:00) at the NGO Resource Centre.

We are pleased to report that Cesvi is welcoming its new Country Representative for Vietnam, Ms. Stefania Rossetti. Ms. Stefania was formerly the Cesvi Programme Manager. We would also like to thank Ms. Stefania's predecessor as CESVI Country Representative, Mr. Loris Palentini, for his involvement with the work of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre, and wish him all the best for the future.

Firstly, we would like to announce two appointments, of INGO Representatives at the Consultative Group Meeting: Ms. Thao Griffiths, Country Representative from the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (new representative); and Ms. Kim N. B. Ninh, Country Representative from the Asia Foundation (re-elected). Members of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre will receive more details shortly through the 'members' mailing list.

Firstly we take this opportunity to inform you that, at ActionAid International Vietnam (AAV), Mr Phan Van Ngoc  completes his five-years' tenure as the Country Director on August 15.  We wish Mr Ngoc all the best for his future endeavours. Ms Hoang Thi Phuong Thao will be the new Country Director of AAV, and starts office from August 1. We also extend our best wishes to Ms Thao as she takes up this position.
