NGO Resource Centre Newsletter October 15 - 30, 2008
Letter from the NGO RC Managing Co-director Trine Glue Doan
Dear Members and Friends,
After more than two and half years as Managing Co-Director at the NGO Resource Centre is it now time for me to move on. I am resigning from the NGO RC in order to further my work within the environment sector.
It has been a very interesting experience to work at the NGO RC and to take part in a broad range of development activities. The support from the NGO RC team and the NGO RC Steering Committee has been crucial for my work at the Centre. It has been a great pleasure to work with different members, government agencies and different development actors, and I would like to express my appreciation of the active engagement of many members in both on-going and new initiatives under the NGO RC, as well as the support the NGO RC and I have received from different organizations and individuals.
I will continue living in Vietnam, and I will look forward to meeting and working together again for a strengthened civil society and improved environmental governance in Vietnam.
I am presently in Denmark and will return to the NGO RC on October 29, where I will work until December 15, 2008. The NGO RC Steering Committee will start recruiting my replacement very soon, and I encourage you to contribute with suggestions of candidates.
Best wishes,
Trine Glue Doan
