2.       Poor Economics: Impact Evaluation for Development (8-12 September 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam)

The course is a blend of theory and practice, and is designed for non-academics who will design and oversee impact evaluations in developing countries. Course participants will learn about attribution, control groups, and sampling. They will review global findings from randomised and other evaluations. They will also develop their own evaluation designs, which they will test in a field visit to rural households. Practical skills will be covered, such as good questionnaire design, drafting evaluation terms of reference, and the management of surveys. Course fee: €750 (lunches and tea breaks are inclusive). 3.       Result-Based Management (15-19 September 2014 in Vientiane, Laos)

This course is designed for staff working for NGOs involved in managing projects and will provide you with a set of RBM tools and skills to apply these tools in your day-to-day work.
