The GIG program is a Government of Vietnam-approved program, working under the Ministry of Justice Project Management Unit through Prime Minister Decision Number 1947/QD-TTg and Minister of Justice Decision Number 404/QD-BTP.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;background:white'><span style='font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>The USAID GIG program is seeking concept papers from non-government entities for implementation of activities designed to improve the legal and regulatory frameworks in Vietnam through enhanced and more participatory policy-making processes; to improve accountability of governance institutions and increase the role of citizens and nongovernment entities in governance; and to bolster inclusion and equality for marginalized groups in Vietnam, including women and ethnic minorities.
