Aviva Community Fund
A Global CSR Program of Aviva
Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great respect that we would like to take this opportunity for a
brief introduction of Aviva Vietnam and Aviva Community Fund. Aviva is
a leading insurer from the UK with over 321 years of experience, serving
over 33 million customers in 16 markets around the globe.
We entered Vietnam market in 2011 through the joint venture with Vietinbank
– the leading commercial bank. In April 2017, we’ve transformed to a 100%
entity owned by Aviva Group and established a strategic long-term
partnership with Vietinbank.
At Aviva, we have an integrated responsible and sustainable business
approach that aligns with our values, which is constantly making the
contribution to the enhancement of the community, especially where we
operate. When it comes to knowing what it takes to improve the
community, we recognize that it’s the local people especially the NGOs
and social entrepreneurs working in that area are the experts. That’s is
the key motivation driving us to create the Aviva Community Fund
(ACF). This is our global CSR program that has been implemented in 6
markets: the UK, France, Italy, Poland, Hong Kong and Canada offering
the chance to provide funding for important causes in the community.
Vietnam is the first country in South East Asia to launch ACF in 2017.
This year, we commit to sponsoring the total funding amount of 65,000
USD for the winning projects in 2017 in 3 main categories: Education,
Environment and Community Health at 3 different funding level: 1000$,
3000$ and 5000$.
The program has now officially received applications at
Quycongdong.aviva.com.vn<http://quycongdong.aviva.com.vn/> from 01/12/2017 to 15/01/2018.
Yours Sincerely,
Aviva Vietnam
