Dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you to a consultation meeting on Child Law amendment which will be organized in UNICEF on 15 December at 13:30-16:00 (5th floor meeting room).

The purpose of the meeting is

-          To provide update on child law amendment progress as well as on your agency support to the child law amendment process

-          To discuss key concerns over the latest draft of the Child Law amendment. Our International Child Rights Consultant will facilitate the discussion.

Given that UNICEF is currently working with MOLISA and the National Assembly, inputs of the meeting will be very important to inform discussion and debates with drafting team members and members of the parliament. In addition, by sharing your agency plans to support the child law amendment process, we will be able to ensure coordination and collaboration among agencies.
