[Childrights-wg] Call for Proposals: Mission of Canada to ASEAN Canada Fund for Local Initiatives

Dear all,

The Mission of Canada to ASEAN is pleased to open its call for proposals for the 2018-2019 ASEAN Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). This year, the ASEAN CFLI will focus on:


1.       Gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls;

2.       Inclusive governance, including diversity, democracy, human rights and the rule of law;

3.       Growth that works for everyone, including women's economic rights, decent jobs and entrepreneurship, investing in the poorest and most vulnerable, and safeguarding economic gains;

4.       Environment and climate change focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management.

Organisations are invited to submit a proposal based on the attached documents on or before May 18, 2018. Projects should be based in one or more ASEAN countries and have an ASEAN theme. Engagement with ASEAN bodies is also strongly encouraged.

The attached application form and budget template should be used for proposals. Additional details are included in the attached Call for Proposals.
