Dear all,

      Greetings from Korea!
We send our deep appreciation for your continuous effort to make our
society more inclusive and to advance the rights of persons with
disabilities.

       The Korean Society for Rehabilittion of Persons with Disabilities
(KSRPD), also as  RI Korea/APDF&KDF Secretariat would like to call your
attention.
We are so pleased to announce that 2013 International Study Program is
going to be run this year with the title "Global Challenges of Youth with
Disabilities." Thus, we are glad to invite the participants of youths with
disabilities in Asian-Pacific Region, who are going to be funded for this
program by KSRPD.
This time 2013 International Study Program is scheduled from August 19 to
31 with the theme, Changing the World Together. Brief information is as
below.

*A. Description of the Team Korea : Changing the World Together*
• Period: 13 days from August 19 to 31 (Period can be changed)
• Theme: Changing the World Together
• Participants: 10 Koreans and 10 Asians-Pacifician (non-Koreans)
• Program (Detailed information to be provided in the near future)
- Orientation : Sharing national overall situation for disability rights
- Workshop on disability rights
- Field visits
       : Understanding various disability issues and the role of DPO/NGO
       : The role and status of Korean International Development: GO etc
- Promotion of Disability Rights and Eradication of Poverty through IT
- UN ESCAP ‘Asia-Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities’ (2003-2012)
- Cultural Exchange

*B. Requests  : Recruitment & an Initial selection of the Participants    *
•  Number of people: One young professional with disabilities
•  Requirements:
- To be a professional with disabilities, working in the disability field,
between 18 and 30 years old
- To speak English at a communicative level (at least)
- To be able to commit oneself to a full-time program away from home, for
13 days
• Cost: A return flight ticket and all the expenses aroused by conducting
the program are funded by KSRPD

Therefore, attached are the official documents for the applicants. For
those who are interested in participating in our  International Study
Program, send us the application and the reference (filled out)  by June
15, 2015. We hope you have many interests and support for a young person
from your country to have an exciting opportunity to participate in the
program.
