Please find attached the up to date endorsements for the IDDC Call to Invest (CTI) in disability-inclusive education which includes endorsements from Global Campaign for Education, UNESCO and more.

The number of endorsements are now over 50!! This is great news, but we want to reach over 100 before the end of June.

Please forward the attached to our partners, governments, DPOs and other contacts related to education to also endorse this call. Please ask organisations to  send their logos to: Nafisa Baboo on: n.baboo at light-for-the-world.org<mailto:n.baboo at light-for-the-world.org> . Nafisa will update new logos once a week. Nafisa, myself and Ingrid Lewis (EENET) as co-chairs of the IDDC IE TG will keep an eye on developments and keep you posted.

The CTI has very clear messages around what can be lobbied and advocated for to ministries of education in respect of disability-inclusive education financing.

The greater the number of endorsements the stronger our advocacy in ensuring disability-inclusive education finance. The Call to Invest are developed from the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) #Costing Equity research findings into education financing (2016-17). With the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) replenishment conference being held early in 2018, the more we can advocate for disability inclusive education financing for education the better for all our partners and the future of all learners with disabilities. Over the coming year there are several significant key global events where finance for education can be advocated for and where there are opportunities to show case CBM’s work in the field.

I am currently following up on Spanish and French version on the CTI which I will circulate as soon as I can.
