This is to bring to your notice that we have activated the emergency WASH
working group on 02 October 2013. The leadership is jointly provided by
MARD and UNICEF - both being the WASH Cluster co-leads. The presentation
and meeting notes for the meeting is attached in the message below.
Also there is an emergency WASH assessment form for agencies to fill in and
return to us. Kindly help us having this filled for Oxfam and return to us.
So far we have received for 8 agencies.

Dear All
Thank you for participating in the emergency WASH working-group/ cluster
meeting. We take the pleasure to share: the draft meeting note, agency
assessment form, and the ppt. presentation used today. Following decisions
are highlight in today's meeting:
All participating agencies expressed their interest to continue this
coordination - despite the coordination was suspended since 2011
Representative of participating agencies agreed to prepare the agency
capacity assessment form/ matrix and share with Mr. Hung/ Standing
Office MARD and Ms. Hien/ UNICEF with CC to Ms. Hang/ Standing Office
MARD and I by 09 October 2013
Agencies who failed to participate in today's meeting are also requested
to share completed form
I shall explore the possibility of finding regional support for
inter-agency contingency planning by end this month - inform
participating agencies over potential dates for the exercise
The group will meet regularly - at least once in 3 months - 4 times in a
year - and standing office/ MARD and UNICEF may call on additional
meetings during emergency
Donor agencies will be included in mailing list and will be requested to
participate
