[dmwg] FW: DMWG Urgent Meeting at 14.00, October 18th at NGO Resources Centre

Hi everyone,

Oxfam has been consulting with PACCOM, NGO RC and some selected DMWG core members about on-going emergency situations in Central provinces. We now agree to call for an urgent meeting to discuss DMWG joint actions in response to typhoon Wutip (30th Sept), typhoon Nari (15th Oct), and on-going emergency flooding situation in Central provinces. Details below:

Time:                    14.00 - 15.30, Friday October 18th, 2013
Venue:                 NGO RC Meeting Room
(Trung Tu Diplomatic Compound, Building E3, Room 201, No. 6 Dang Van Ngu, Dong Da, Hanoi).

Agenda for the meeting include:

·         Situation updates: including typhoon Wutip, typhoon Nari, and current Central emergency flooding.

·         Mapping who is working where, and focusing on what activities in most affected provinces.

·         Discussion and decision making on DMWG joint rapid assessment(s) in affected provinces and or any other follow-up actions and coordinated response plan.

·         Sharing initial damage and needs assessment reports (by Save the Children, and DWF in Da Nang)

·         Other issues
