Dear Colleagues,

Following the direction of leaders of Water Resource Directorate, Ministry
of Agriculture and Rural Development, Disaster Management Center and the
Institute for Social and Environmental Transition (ISET) are co-organizing
a workshop for sharing experience and building capacity to respond to
natural disasters in urban areas, with the purpose of sharing experience in
disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, and discussing
measures to improve disaster reduction capacity in urban areas.

On be half of ISET and DMC, We would like to cordially invite you to attend
at this workshop.

*1.     **Time:                         *08:30 - 17:00, 11 Apr 2014

*2.     **Location:        *Saigon Tourane Hotel, no. 05 Dong Da, Hai Chau
district, Da Nang

*3.     **Participants: *Leaders of Standing Offices under Provincial Steering
Committee for Flood and Storm Control / Climate Change Offices of
provinces; representatives Urban Development Agency, UN agencies, donors
and NGOs working in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

*4.     **Contents:       *Overview of disaster reduction and climate
change adaptation in urban areas; sharing practical experience and new
approach in building capacity to prevent and control natural disasters in
urban areas *(Detailed agenda attached).*

*5.     **Finance:          *You are required to cover your own costs for
traveling and accommodation in Da Nang.
