DWF has prepared and edited, in collaboration with the Ministry and Provincial Departments of Construction, 12 Atlas of Housing, in the following Provinces of Central Vietnam : Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan (Project funded by EU-DIPECHO 2012-2013).



Atlas of housing vulnerability and measures for safe housing in Province

Content (each around 50 pages, in Vietnamese) :

§  Presentation by Provincial Department of Construction

§  Natural conditions and natural disasters in the Province

§  Who can reduce housing vulnerability, and how? (Government, Local authorities, Householders)

§  Part 1: Disasters prone areas and general situation

§  Part 2: Reality and practical problems / vulnerability of housing in different areas

§  Part 3: Main guidelines - solutions for safe housing

§  Part 4: Models of safe house for disaster areas, with technical details for reinforcement

§  Annexes
