[dmwg] DMWG saying good bye to Stacey Sawchuk - UNDP's DRR and CCA Facilitator

Dear DMWG members,



Many of you may know and meet Ms. Stacey Sawchuk – UNDP’s DRR and CCA Facilitator – during the past years in various activities and meetings involving DMWG members. It is with regret to update with you all that Stacey is departing from her current role at UNDP in Vietnam to pursue her new career with Action Aid in Australia.


Stacey’s contributions have been a great benefit to the smooth operations of DMWG during the tenure that UNDP chaired this Working Group last year. She has also been a dedicated coordinator working on the project Strengthening Institutional Capacity for Disaster Risk Management in Vietnam, Including Climate Change Related Risks - Phase II (SCDM II), under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Stacey has been a valued part of DMWG and many of us have enjoyed working alongside of her. We know Stacey will continue to succeed in her new phase of professional career.

Stacey’s last working day in Vietnam is Friday, 20th March 2015, so we will not be able to see her as usual at our coming DMWG meeting this month to bid farewell to her. Please join us in thanking Stacey for her contribution to DMWG, and wishing Stacey the very best both professionally and personally, and the greatest of success in all of her future endeavors.
