Subject: [Ngo Climate Change] COMMUNICATION OPPORTUNITY_NGO's publication to be shared at COP 21

Dear my colleagues,

2015 is a special year for climate change with a new climate agreement expected to be agreed upon at UNFCCC Conference of Parties (COP) 21 in Paris. To increase Viet Nam’s international profile at COP21 and demonstrate its leadership within ASEAN, it is proposed to organize a “Viet Nam Pavilion” as a core component of Viet Nam’s participation at the 2015 UNFCCC, to take place in Paris, France, from November 30 to December 11, 2015.

The Viet Nam Pavilion will showcase to the international community Viet Nam’s leadership and successful achievements in climate change science, mitigation and adaptation, as well as action on green growth. COP21 is expected to attract over 50,000 participants and generate significant exposure in the international media.

With a view to support this Pavilion of the Government of Vietnam, CCWG is preparing a list of NGOs’ publications/ communication materials related to successful achievements in climate change science, mitigation and adaptation, as well as action on green growth which will be potential for sharing at this important event. Please click in below link and fill in all required information in case you would like to share no later than next Thursday 10th September, 2015.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/X6B5V5S

Kindly be noted that the sharing materials/ publications should be in English as well as it will be available for sharing by the end of this November. Due to the fact that there will be a huge number of publications/ communication materials, we would like to limit each organization could have 3 publications/ communication materials only. And the type of communication materials/ publications is not limited to report, but open to all kind of material such as: policy brief, leaflet, booklet, brochure, standee, poster, video, etc. However, the light and innovative/ attractive communication materials/ publications would be prioritized. Transportation fee to deliver those materials to Hanoi will be covered by the organization. CCWG will support in delivering them to COP.

We will support in collecting those materials in a list and submit to MoNRE for final decision. Thank you in advance for your kind support and cooperation. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any query.

Warmly regards,

Minh
