Subject: Tsunami Warning following Chile Earthquake

Dear DRM focal points,

Following the 8.3 earthquake in Chile at 22:54H 16 Sept 2015 (06:54H 17 Sept 2015, +08:00H GMT), a tsunami warning has been raised for the Pacific, as follows:

Tsunami waves, 0.3 TO 1m above tide level are possible for some coasts of JPN, NEC, MHL, FJI, WSM, COK, TKL, VUT, KIR, TOM, WAF, PCN, NIU, SLB.

Tsunami waves less than 0.3m  are possible for the coasts of AUS, PHL, CHN, GUM, PLW, FSM, NRU, PNG, VNM and MYS.
