[dmwg] Updates on DMWG's JAT members and preparation and contribution for a training/ refresher traing of the upaded JAT team

Dear DMWG members,

 

Disaster season has come already and there will be likely big typhoons or
floods, etc, happening some where in Vietnam during September-November,
particularly in the central region. 

 

The DMWG gathered on July 29 and agreed that there was need to conduct a
training or a refresher training for it's JAT members so that they would be
able activate when a big disaster strikes an area. Many of the JAT members
have changed their work so it's time for us to update the team members
properly. 

 

Please fill out the Joint Assessment Team Template (attached). Please note
that any of the team members from your organization who want to join the JAT
of the DMWWG should have at least 2 year working experience in the areas of
disaster relief and recovery.

 

The Refresher training was reccomended to organize in late August or early
September, in which, we would like to utilize resources/ contributions from
all core members or interested organizations. Please look through the
attached files including Meeting Minutes, Drafted Training Agenda and Budget
Estimate for your information and consideration.

 

You are kindly requested to contribute your inputs and human and financial
resources to carry out the training.
