[dmwg] Invitation: drought recovery planning - NGO consultation session 9Aug, 2pm, GOUNH

Dear colleagues,

As you know, since mid-July MARD on behalf of the CCNDPC has initiated the drought recovery planning. The aim is to develop (incl. cost) a drought recovery framework, integrated into the Emergency Response Plan 2016/17. MARD is currently collecting feedback from the 18 affected provinces on their priorities.

As part of this recovery planning process, the UN is facilitating a consultation session with humanitarian partners. At this session, the draft recovery framework will be presented followed by working sessions to agree on NGO/DMWG input into the framework.

The consultation session will take place next Tuesday 9th August, from 2pm, at the Green One UN House (304 Kim Ma), ground floor meeting room m3.

If you'd like to participate, please register your name and organization by cob Monday 8th August on this email address. Upon registration, we will share with you a draft of the framework so you can prepare your input.
