Dear team members of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen,

Kindly find below some suggestions from our meeting today. While I suggest going to 4 districts (2 sub-teams doing 2 districts) which make sense for the case of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen, most of participants this morning seem to vote for just 2 districts. If that is your idea too, please suggest name of those two districts and potential communes. I will take the option with more votes.

I am sharing the latest questionaire for the assessment, which I am going to add some indicators for early recovery. Appreciate if you can give me some inputs so that I can consolidate by 3.30pm today.

Decisions and next steps

?  Meeting participants and sector leads to revise the current JAT questionnaire by latest 3.00 pm this afternoon. UNICEF will translate into Vietnamese, and RCO will share with PACCOM to ensure that provinces are being notified.

?  Most updated list of participants to be shared by PACCOM as soon as possible.

?  Team leaders to revise the agenda to ensure splitting in sub-teams, carrying out assessments in two different districts and two associated communes, ensuring comparability in geographical coverage.

?  Noting that VNRC has done shelter assessments in six provinces (assessments to be shared by COB today), focus should be set on other urgent sectors, including WASH, food security, nutrition, education and protection. The team leaders will ensure some flexibility to give way to the needs and gaps that have been identified during debrief meetings with the PPCs in the different provinces. Following the debriefing meetings, the team leaders will ensure that focal points for the different sectors are available, who will ensure that all necessary information are covered.
