[dmwg] Invitation to Launching Ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2022 and Celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (8th May)

This is a kind reminder to confirm in order to participate in the Launching Ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2022 and Celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on 28th April 2022.

Dear colleagues and friends,

As the previous announcement, the Launching Ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2022 and Celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (8th May) will be organized on 28th-29th April 2022 in Quang Nam province. However, after consultation and working with the Vietnamese Government Leader, we would like to change the time and place to organize the Launching Ceremony in order to get a successful and fulfilling event. Therefore, the Ceremony will be taken place in Thua Thien Hue province on 28th April 2022.
The Ceremony will be broadcast live on the VTV8 channel with the participation of H.E Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc - President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and representatives from the Vietnamese Government and Ministries.
All related costs will be covered by participants.  Please find the agenda and invitation letter attached for more details.
To ensure preparatory activities, please kindly confirm your presence by COB 22nd April 2022.

Warmest greetings from Vietnam Red Cross Society!

We would like to invite you to join the Launching Ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2022 and Celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (8th May), which will be organized on 28th-29th April 2022 in Quang Nam province.

The objective of the event aims to deeply disseminate Ho Chi Minh’s humanitarian thoughts, and meanings of Humanitarian Month as well as the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement. Through the Ceremony, we hope that humanitarian values will be widely spread out in the community, thereby encouraging the whole society to join hands in the implementation of humanitarian activities initiated by Vietnam Red Cross Society.

400 participants include representatives from Ministries and Government Agencies, Vietnam Red Cross Society, Quang Nam People’s Committee and provincial departments, Movement partners, domestic and international donors, press agencies, and beneficiaries.

For better logistics arrangement, it would be very much appreciated if you can confirm your participation by COB 8th April 2022.
