<p class="MsoNormal">UN Women, Disaster Management Policy
and Technology Center (Viet Nam Disaster Management
Authority), UNICEF, and the International Planned
Parenthood Federation (IPPF) are going to organize <b><u>a
training on Gender in Humanitarian Action Training
from the 14-16 May 2019</u></b><b><u> at DMPTC's
meeting room, N.54, Lane 102, Truong Chinh street,
Dong Da District, Hanoi.</u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align:justify">This
training has been designed to answer the recurrent demand
for a stand-alone training on gender, enabling
humanitarian and disaster risk management practitioners to
have an increased understanding of what is gender equality
programming and how to apply it in their respective areas
of work. The objective of the Gender in Humanitarian
Action and DRR training is to provide participants with a
variety of practical tools on gender that are transferable
to the range of situations in which humanitarian and
disaster risk management workers may find themselves in
the field. <span lang="EN-GB">Please find attached the
training concept note and the draft agenda overview for
your reference. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align:justify">The
training will be conducted in English with simultaneous
interpretation. Lunch and coffee/tea break will be
provided to all participants during the training. Please
be aware that the number of participants for the training
is limited to 35 and registrations will be confirmed on
