Dear Colleagues and Friends,

UNDP Vietnam seeks 01 qualified National Consultant to review and incorporate recommendations for revision of the 2005 Law on Environmental Protection (LEP) and assist the development of the revised LEP.

The objectives of this assignment are to:

As the results from relevant tasks to ensure the harmonization, practical basis and feasibility of all consultancies for the:

1.            Review analysis reports of identified critical aspects of LEP, provide comments on scientific and practical basis of recommendations for the revision of LEP and incorporate all relevant recommendations to provide inputs for the revision of the LEP;
2.            Support Viet Nam Environment Administration/Department of Policy and Legal Affairs (VEA/DOPLA) in development, amendment and finalization of the draft revised LEP.

The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
