<br>LIN Center for Community Development is calling for proposals for
the upcoming special grant round for the Women’s Empowerment Through
Financial Literacy Fund. Applications are now open for proposals of
variable scale and scope which addresses access to financial literacy
support for low income and otherwise economically disadvantaged women
living in or near HCMC while fostering the development of the financial
literacy field. This includes addressing the needs of people who may
normally be excluded from mainstream financial institutions, enabling
them to develop skills, knowledge and confidence in financial issues.</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><font color="#000000"> </font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><font color="#000000">An
anonymous donor is offering a total of VND 280 million. How those funds
will be disbursed will depend on the proposal submissions. Proposed
project budgets must be at least VND 20 million and no greater than 250
million. Depending on the submissions, the donor may decide to offer
several small grants, a few medium sized grants, one large grant or
another variation. Interested organizations may refer to the attached

LIN will partner with Dariu Foundation to hold a workshop on this grant
round. LIN will announce grant details and Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Country
Director of Dariu Foundation will share his experience providing
financial literacy and microfinance to low-income people in the South of
Vietnam. The workshop will be held at the LIN Community Center 180/47
