This Programme covers extensive theoretical material on Disaster Management with modules on Disasters and Development, Humanitarian Principles, Laws and Standards, Introduction to Hazards, Vulnerabilities and Disasters, Disaster Risk Reduction and Development Planning, GIS and ICT for Disasters and Disaster Response and Recovery, with an aim to bridge the knowledge-practice gap. The Programme is now in its fifth year, has attracted over 300 participants from 90 countries and has completed nine successful batches. </span></span></span></p>
