This Programme covers extensive theoretical material on Disaster Management with modules on Introduction to Development, Humanitarian Principles, Laws, and Standards, Introduction to Hazards, Vulnerabilities and Disasters, Disaster Risk Reduction and Development Planning, GIS and ICT for disasters, Disaster Response and Recovery, with an aim to bridge the knowledge-practice gap. The Programme is now in its </span></span></span></span></span></span><span style="font-variant: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Liberation\ Serif, serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">six</span></span></span></span></span></span><span style="font-variant: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Liberation\ Serif, serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-style: normal;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">th year, has attracted over 300 participants from 90 countries and completed nine successful batches. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
