[ingodirectors] Online INGO Directory Launched

Dear Colleagues,



It is my pleasure to inform you of the launch of the new online INGO
Directory, as a part of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre’s website. You will
note that it is at the trial stage and we intend to improve it, based on
your feedback. Any visitor to the website can click the ‘INGO Directory’ tab
in the menu bar at the top of the home screen and access a short version of
the directory, which includes INGO’s name, website, email and contact phone.



All INGO members will have a full access to the directory by logging in at
this link:



http://www.ngocentre.org.vn/user



Please enter your user name and password. This is the same user name and
password that you (or a member of your staff) used to add information about
your organisation to the online INGO Directory. Once you are logged in click
on the 'INGO Directory' tab in the menu bar at the top of the home screen.
This takes you to the full version of the INGO Directory.



About half way down the page you will see the first of several pages that
list INGO members of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre. Use the page numbers at
the bottom of this page to go to the other pages. As you browse through
these pages click on the short name of any organisation (highlighted in
blue) to find details about the organisation.



You can also search the list, by using the search fields that appear each
page of the online INGO Directory. You can search by:



* organisation name

* using a key word or key words to search organisations' projects

* sector (press+hold Ctrl key and click for multiple selections)

* province (press+hold Ctrl key and click for multiple selections)



or you can use a combinations of several search fields.



Every time you want to reset your search and start a new search click on
'INGO Directory' on the menu bar at the top of the home page again. I again
ask you to give your feedback about whether you encounter any problems using
the online INGO Directory, and also about the features you like. Please send

We at the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre hope you find the INGO Directory a useful
tool for your work in Vietnam.
