[ingodirectors] New Decree 12/2012/ND-CP released

Dear INGO members:

Our partners at PACCOM have shared the news that a new Decree No 
12/2012/ND-CP has been released on the 1st of March 2012 by the 
Vietnamese Government. The new decree will come into force on the 1st of 
June 2012 -- thus replacing Decision No 340/TTg (from 1996), which is 
currently regulating operations of foreign NGOs in Vietnam. PACCOM will 
organize a separate meeting to disseminate information about the new 
decree some time before the end of March 2012. We will keep you informed 
about the exact date; and we will circulate invitations. In addition, 
PACCOM is working on an English translation of the new decree; which we 
will share as soon as it is finalized.
