[ingodirectors] Call for Nominations: INGO Representative to CCM of GFATM

Dear INGO colleagues:

Please send your nomination or self-nomination for an INGO 
representative to the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global 
Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) in Vietnam. Kindly 
send the name of your proposed candidate by this Friday, 5 October 2012 
to <director at ngocentre.org.vn>. We will initiate electronic elections 
following this call.

Suggested candidates must be representatives or country directors of 
INGOs registered by PACCOM, and members of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre. 
They will be expected to consult with, represent the interests of, and 
report back to the wider INGO community in Vietnam. The INGO 
representative to CCM-GFATM will participate in CCM meetings several 
times each year; discuss GFATM implementation; and collaborate with 
other development partners when required. Please include one or two 
sentences describing a professional relevance of the suggested 
candidate, so that your colleagues can make an informed decision when 
voting.

The current INGO representative Mr Matthew Tiedemann, Country Director 
at Pact, has finished his tenure in Vietnam. During the interim period 
Dr Greg Fox, Country Director at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research 
Vietnam, will attend CCM meetings as an alternate INGO representative.
