[ingodirectors] 2012 Salary Survey Report Released

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

The 2012 Salary Survey Report has been completed and is ready for
distribution!

Current INGO members and former members who participated in the survey will
receive a free hard copy of the report. INGOs based in Hanoi are kindly
requested to send a staff member to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre, La Thanh
Hotel, 218  Doi Can, and collect their copy of the report between 9:00 AM
and 5:00 PM on any working day -- starting Monday 24 September 2012. INGOs
based outside Hanoi should contact Ms Bui Thi Kim Ngan at <
administrator at ngocentre.org.vn> or call +84 4 3832 8570 to confirm their
mailing address. We can send the report by mail to your office or arrange
other convenient method of delivery. Only a limited number of hard copies
will be distributed -- the electronic version of the report will not be
circulated.

Please note that a person collecting the report will receive it in a sealed
envelope, addressed to the Country Director, Representative or other most
senior person in your respective INGO. A few INGO members who did not pay
their membership fees for 2012 should arrange the payment before collecting
the report. If you received this announcement but your INGO is no longer a
member of the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre and you have not participated in the
survey, you may still obtain the report for a fee of USD 100 or VND
2,000,000.

Specific figure and comparison charts in the report are cumulative and/or
illustrative. All participating INGOs are listed on the last page of the
report but no specific information is disclosed regarding their individual
budgets, salaries, benefits or any other confidential data from the
survey. I hope that the 2012 Salary Survey Report will provide valuable
information for your management decisions regarding the remuneration and
benefits of your Vietnamese staff. Should you require additional mapping or
cross-cutting analysis based on the contents of the survey, do not hesitate
