Dear colleagues and friends,

On 29 May 2014 the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre published the Joint 
Statement of a Group of INGOs regarding tensions in the East Sea / South 
China Sea. I would like to thank INGO directors who provided comments on 
the draft statement circulated previously. Twenty five INGOs endorsed 
the statement. Please find enclosed the final statement, including the
