[ingodirectors] Announcement of INGO Representative to CCM Vietnam for 2015 – 2016

Dear INGO directors:

I would like to announce that Ms. Ha Thuy Huong, Country Director at 
Management Sciences for Health / Supply Chain Management System 
(MSH/SCMS), has been appointed as the INGO representative to the Country 
Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, 
Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). Following departure of the former INGO 
representative to CCM-GFATM, Mr. Gary West from FHI360, and a proposal 
of health-related INGOs -- the Steering Committee of the VUFO-NGO 
Resource Centre has approved Thuy Huong's appointment for the period 
2015 – 2016.

Thuy Huong has been Country Director for MSH/SCMS in Vietnam since 2013. 
She also served as an alternate INGO representative to CCM until this 
year. MSH/SCMS is responsible for the service delivery of 
HIV/AIDS-related health products and providing technical assistance to 
the Government of Vietnam in the area of Procurement and Supply 
Management under PEPFAR program. Thuy Huong has over 20 years experience 
working for international organizations including the United Nations, 
the World Health Organisation and the Global Fund Geneva in the area of 
pharmaceutical management.

Please join me in congratulating Thuy Huong on her appointment. On 
behalf of my team, I wish her a successful tenure in this role.
