Dear Country Directors working in the health sector:

Following departure of the former INGO representative Ms. Thuy Huong
Ha, Project Director at SCMS / MSFH, we sent a call for nominations in
June this year, asking from you to nominate or self-nominate a
candidate for the INGO representative to the Country Coordinating
Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria (GFATM) in Vietnam. Almost six months later, we still did not
receive a single nomination. I received a repeated request from the
CCM Secretariat, asking us to help with the selection of a new INGO
representative for the period 2017-2019. Please find enclosed the TOR
from CCM with more information.

I hope that there we will find a volunteer willing to take on this
duty and represent the INGO community at CCM Vietnam. CCM's deadline
has already passed, so please submit your name or the name of your
proposed candidate by 25 November 2016 (one week) to
<director at ngocentre.org.vn>. If we receive more than 1 candidate the
NGO Resource Centre will initiate electronic elections.

Suggested candidate(s) must be representatives, country directors,
heads of missions or deputies from INGOs registered with PACCOM. They
will be expected to consult with-, represent the interests of-, and
report back to the wider INGO community in Vietnam. The INGO
representative to CCM-GFATM will participate in CCM meetings several
times per year, discuss GFATM implementation and collaborate with
other development partners when required.
