[ingodirectors] REQUEST for Comments on Draft Decree guiding new Anti-Corruption Law

Dear INGO directors:

I received an English translation of the draft decree guiding the
implementation of the new Anti-Corruption Law (attached). Towards
Transparency Vietnam is supporting Vietnam’s Government Inspectorate
to finalise the new decree and strengthen anti-corruption legal
framework in Vietnam. They are consolidating comments from different
partners. The draft decree contains a number of provisions regulating
enterprises and CSOs in non-state sector. It also provides detailed
guidance for several issues relating to public sector, such as:
accountability, conflict of interest, sanctions for corrupt acts, etc.

If you are interested in sharing any comments or recommendations,
please send them to me before COB Tuesday 16 April, so that I can
consolidate and share with Towards Transparency. Thank you in advance.
