I would like to extend a special thanks to the Disaster Management Working Group and the Climate Change Working Group, as well as our colleagues from Oxfam, the Asia Foundation, CARE, Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation, ActionAid, Save the Children, International Federation of Red Cross and others who provided their valuable inputs. These documents will be used as follows:</div>
<div><br></div><div>(1) INGO Talking Points on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (SPR)</div><div><br></div><div>During the morning session our INGO representative will take the floor and deliver your messages at appropriate moments during the discussion. Please note that we will include additional comments received today from FHI's Vietnam Alive & Thrive; and possibly a few messages on War Legacies from Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (time permitting).</div>
<div><br></div><div>(2) INGO Presentation on Natural Disaster Risk Management (NDRM)</div><div> </div><div>Our INGO representative will deliver most of the messages from this document, as a part of a joint presentation prepared by the NDRM Donor Group led by AusAID, Please note that some key messages, based on INGO community-level engagement, may be incorporated into donors' sections of the presentation to avoid repetition.</div>

Traditionally the four INGO Representatives prepare talking points with a support of the wider INGO community and relevant NGO Resource Centre's Working Groups.</div>

<div>Given the short time frame we will not be able to organize INGO Forum in order to discuss the above themes with all country directors and/or representatives. Therefore, we requested inputs from the Climate Change Working Group and the Disaster Management Working Group. They will prepare key messages for this CG meeting.</div>

<div>I believe that those INGOs which implement SPR and NDRM programmes already have representatives involved in our Working Groups. However, if there are specific messages or suggestions which you would like to share directly, please email me before the end of this week. Note that our time at the CG meeting will be limited to approximately 5 minutes per each theme. If you would like to share your messages related to SPR or NDRM please send them in a simple text format, preferably as bullet points.</div>
