Please share your thoughts, comments or suggestions for the INGO<br>
Statement at the 2017 Vietnam Development Forum (VDF). The title of<br>
this year's forum is: "Leveraging Productivity Growth for Sustainable<br>
Development" and it is scheduled for 13 December 2015. Apart from the<br>
key note speech by the Prime Minister, there will be two sessions:<br>
<br>
1. "Productivity Growth: Global Trends and Vietnam challenges" 2.<br>
"Unlocking Vietnam’s Productivity Growth for Sustainable Development"<br>
<br>
Please see the attached agenda for more details. Current INGO<br>
representatives to VDF are country directors from ActionAid, Marie<br>
Stopes International, The Asia Foundation and Bread for the World.<br>
They will represent the INGO community at the forum. We met this<br>
morning and started consultations about the written INGO Statement. If<br>
your projects are related to any of the VDF 2017 themes (see above) --<br>
please share your thoughts, comments or suggestions. Key messages from<br>
the written statement may be used as talking points during the two<br>
sessions, time permitting. Kindly note that the final written document<br>
will be 2 - 4 pages and your representatives will have a maximum of 3<br>
minutes (per session) to deliver INGOs' views.<br>

Therefore, keep your inputs concise and clear; and send them directly<br>
to me at <<a href="mailto:markongorc@gmail.com">markongorc@gmail.com</a>> no later than 24 November. Kindly<br>
focus on the key messages that you would like to share, not exceeding<br>
1 - 2 paragraphs; preferably following some of these guiding<br>
sub-themes which we agreed upon this morning:<br>

- youth employment<br>
- Climate Change preparedness<br>
- food security<br>
- women's economic empowerment<br>
- creating jobs in digital era<br>
- agro businesses<br>
<br>
