                               JOB VACANCIES

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:

1.  PROJECT  ASSISTANT  –  Child Participation (1 position) working for the
Area Development Program in Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province.

Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development,
emphasizing  the  process  of  community participation, sustainability, and
integrating   activities  in  the  areas  of  food  security,  agriculture,
micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

Main  Responsibilities:  To  assist the ADP Manager and Child Participation
Officer  in  World Vision Vietnam (WVV) in increasing the level and quality
of  Child  Participation  in  project activities through coordinating local
Child   Participation   volunteers  and  implementing  Child  Participation
activities of the ADP.

Requirements:

      University/College  graduate  in  any  field (preferably in Community
      Development or Pedagogy).
      At  least  1-2  years  relevant  experience  in working with children
      and/or working for community development projects.
      Capacity building experience is helpful.
      Good written and oral communication skills in English.

   2.  BOOKKEEPER   (1  position)  working  for an Area Development Program
      (ADP) in Thanh Hoa province.

Main  Responsibilities: The position assists the ADP Manager in maintaining
the books of accounts and other financial records of the project & adhering
to  the  financial  standards  of  World  Vision financial system to ensure
accountability.

Requirements:
      University  or  College degree in any field (preferably in accounting
      and finance).
      Good knowledge of and 1 year work experience in accounting.
      Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.
      Basic English skills with good reading skills.

Common requirements for all positions:
      Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
      Work at district level.
      World  Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian non-government organization.
      Applicants   having   working   experience   in  a  similar  kind  of
      organization will be an advantage.
