* **HCMC, 26 August 2008–* The Dariu Foundation (TDF), a Swiss
non-governmental organization, is pleased to announce the launch of its new
and improved website. This website offers many of the same great features as
the previous site; however, TDF has made a more user-friendly layout as well
an updated look and expanded program description. The news section will give
visitors an overview of what is going on at TDF, either in news or photo
news, as well as all press releases. Additionally, the social investment
category will give donors ideas of how far their donation will go, so that
they can make an investment decision into TDF.

Operating in Vietnam since 2002 with focus on microfinance and education
support, TDF is currently serving more than 10,000 clients, providing
scholarships to thousands of poor students and building tens of schools in
two provinces of Vinh Long (in the Mekong River Delta) and Dong Nai
(northeast of Ho Chi Minh city) and in other provinces of Vietnam. Its
mission is every households of low income can have access to affordable and
readily available microfinance services, enabling them to improve their
employment, income and financial management skills, and making them
understand the importance of and realize investment in their children’s
education.

The Dariu Foundation is recognized as one of leading microfinance service
providers in Vietnam – with two Citi Micro Entrepreneur Awards (as top-ten
and top-three microfinance institutions in Vietnam) in 2007 and 2008,
