To Whom It May Concern:

 

 

I would like to canvas the availability of funding for a gender awareness
capacity development project initially 

developed at the request of UNESCO. After undertaking a recent gender survey
of Vietnamese 

Museums UNESCO identified a significant need for training in gender
awareness in relation to collection development, 

exhibition and public education program design and internal staff
management. 

 

We (the Vietnamese Women's Museum) were asked to develop a practical
training and implementation program 

that would  address these issues. We have developed a project proposal
however UNESCO has now advised that they 

do not have funds for the project. 

 

 

I am endeavouring to identify alternative funding sources. Could you please
let me know of any funding programs that 

might be suitable for this purpose.
