                               JOB VACANCIES

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:

1.  Manager  (1 position) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) in
Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province. Deadline for application: 2 August 2009

Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development,
emphasizing  the  process  of  community participation, sustainability, and
integrating   activities  in  the  areas  of  food  security,  agriculture,
micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

Main  Responsibilities:  To lead the ADP Team in working with the community
to  design  project  plan,  to implement project activities, to monitor and
evaluate  progress, and to transfer the ownership of the development of the
ADP to the community members.
Requirements:
      University  graduate  in  any field, preferably in education, health,
      community development, or social studies.
      At  least  3  years relevant work experience in community development
      including demonstrated capacity in program management.
      Well-developed representation and negotiation skills.
      Experience in managing and supervising staff, with strong liaison and
      interpersonal skills.
      Well-developed writing and oral communications skills in English.
      Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
      Work at district level.

2.  PROJECT  ASSISTANT – Monitoring and Evaluation cum Capacity Building (1
position)  working  for  the Area Development Program in Tran Yen district,
Yen Bai province. Deadline for application: 26 July 2009.

Main  Responsibilities: This position aims to support WV Vietnam to improve
the  quality  of  Capacity  Building  Project  in Tran Yen Area Development
Program  and  to improve the quality of Design, Implementation, Monitoring,
and Evaluation (DIME) system of the ADP.
Requirements:
      University/College   graduate,   preferably   Community   Development
      Management and/or Economics or related fields.
      At least 1 year working experiences in community development.
      Knowledge   and  work  experience  on  Monitoring  &  Evaluation  and
      management of information systems is preferred.
      Good skills in training and capacity building.
      Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
      Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
      Basic English skills with good reading skills.
      Work at district level.

Common requirements:
      World  Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian non-government organization.
      Applicants   having   working   experience   in  a  similar  kind  of
      organization will be an advantage.
